Three former Wieden + Kennedy mom phone number data heavyweights who spent decades working on the agency’s prized Nike account (producing a number of iconic campaigns along the way) now run their own agency, called Someplace.
Ryan O'Rourke, Alberto Ponte and Dan Sheniak announced Wednesday that they have been quietly operating the agency since October 2022, after leaving W+K the previous month.
The Los Angeles-based agency works with clients ranging from sportswear to fashion and accessories to mobile sports betting. Among its recent work is the following ad, which announces fashion brand Moncler’s collaboration with Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
The agency, which did not name other clients, said it offers services including creative and brand strategy, brand identity and design, creative development, production and media and communications strategy.
O'Rourke and Ponte spent more than a decade as global creative directors for W+K at Nike. They were named Ad Age 's creative directors of the year in 2019 after leading the development of Nike's critically acclaimed Dream Crazy campaign.
Sheniak previously served as Nike's global media director at W+K.
All three had spent decades at the agency: Sheniak joined in the mid-1990s and O'Rourke and Ponte in the early 2000s.
Her other Nike campaigns include Find your greatness , for the 2012 Olympic Games; Risk everything , for the 2014 World Cup; You can't stop sport , Rise and Together , with LeBron James; The Black Mamba , with Kobe Bryant; and You can't stop sisters , with Serena and Venus Williams.
