The cooperation of these networks was launched under the European Union's Horizon 2020 programme in September 2020. It brings together scientists from across Europe. At this event, the European public interested in AI had the opportunity to gain an overview of Europe's position in the field of AI and learn about its impact on the European economy and society. One of the main organizers is the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, CTU in Prague (CIIRC CTU).
People with a vested interest in artificial intelligence will gain an overview of how Europe is doing in artificial intelligence and what the impacts of AI are on the European economy jordan telemarketing and society. Next week, it will be one of the first opportunities for a public debate on these new plans at the European level.
Vít Dočkal, Head of the CIIRC CTU Project Office, who also manages the communication activities of the VISION project, sees this event as a step towards closer communication between the European scientific AI community and the general public. " Our goal is to bring young people, researchers, innovators, companies and politicians to one table, at least virtually, and discuss ambitious European plans for artificial intelligence and the developing ecosystem of AI excellence ."
Thanks to the strong coordinating role of CIIRC CTU, we were able to recommend Sara Polak, a member of the interuniversity non-profit initiative prg.ai, among the panelists who represent the top figures in their fields, who has recently become one of the most prominent faces in the popularization of artificial intelligence among the Czech general and professional public. " Personalities who have something to say about artificial intelligence were selected for the program in such a way that they represent various areas, both professional and geographical. We are very happy that the Czech Republic is represented in the program of the event thanks to Sara ," specified Eva Doležalová from CIIRC CTU, who is in charge of coordinating the event.
