When they came to us, our clients had a dream of consolidating their startup in the recycling industry. Therefore, the company, located in Campinas, still had some initial difficulties, the main one being the lack of suppliers.
The startup 's focus was on recycling plastics, more bc data america specifically, polyethylene and polypropylene, popularly known as PP and HDPE. With that in mind, they approached Líder Jr. and reported some of the barriers they encountered when entering this recycling market.
2. The challenge
There were two main challenges in this project. The first was the informality present in the HDPE and PP recycling market. That is, there were no formal contracts for the distribution of these plastics, only verbal agreements, which made it difficult to trust suppliers.
The second concerns the greater interest of our clients in potential suppliers. In other words, they requested that some of the supply contacts be from places that previously disposed of these plastics normally, instead of selling them for recycling. This circumstance would make it easier to negotiate the price of PP and HDPE.

Strategic Analysis
The first stage of our project was to gain greater knowledge about the company's customers and business environment. To do this, we conducted a SWOT analysis of the startup , in which we were able to cross-reference various company data and create effective action plans.
After this analysis, we began to obtain more data on the plastics market through Secondary Data Research. Thus, bibliographic research enabled us to understand the differences, trends and general behavior of the PP and HDPE market.
Supplier Search
To conduct the supplier survey, a spreadsheet was created that included the main supplier data, such as location, type and quantity of plastic offered, contact details, among others. Another point is that the spreadsheet had support tabs for the customer, these were the “Quick Query” and “Control Panel” tabs, which allowed a quicker view of each supplier and offered a comparison between them through graphs.
Finally, a direct search for such suppliers was carried out, among them we obtained some of the potential suppliers requested by the company and also more formal suppliers who would provide greater reliability during commercial exchanges.
4. Impact and Results

This way, we were able to not only reach the number of suppliers previously stipulated with customers, but we also made available to them a table of additional suppliers that could also be explored by the company.
In this way, the project developed by Líder Jr. had a great impact on the startup . Through the reports and spreadsheet delivered, we were able to facilitate the company's entry into the recycling market.
