Amplify emotions with expressive images
So no piggy bank or office buildings when presenting an annual report. Find images that give a more beautiful association. Examples: Do you expect a well-filled order portfolio? Then use a rising sun, or a green meadow with sunflowers. Have you accelerated the project duration? Then a fast car can be a strong image. Do you want to portray a well-coordinated team? Then look at a rugby team and not at the cheesy handshake. Are you faced with a number of choices? Then do not use the worn-out signpost, but a hesitant child in front of an ice cream cart.

Preferably use your own company photos and not stock material. Are you looking for free images? Then take a look at this list of more than 35 original photo sites .

Which image do you find more expressive to show that you are faced with a difficult choice?

Use animations sparingly
When working with animations, don't choose the spinning, bouncing, rolling or mirroring words. You can do that at the sports club, but a professional marketer applies it in a limited way. Use the meaning of a transition. Pushing to the right means: you start a new topic. Pushing from below: you go into depth. Add that meaning to your slide deck. But do it in moderation.

Numbers
When you use numbers in your presentation, it works more convincingly by working with shapes again. A small and large circle next to each other instead of a table of your profit and loss account. Or a photo that shows growth next to a simple graph. Or bang on 1 slide super large the most important number that you want to communicate.

With these tips you can convince your audience even easier. Good luck!
