As mentioned above, we will show you how to exclude apps that are congested or specific apps from distribution.
To exclude delivery to specific placements in "Pangle," use a feature called the "Block List." To edit the "Block List," select [Tools] → [Account Settings] at the top of the ad management screen, and then select [Content Exclusion] on the left side of the page.
① Prepare the ID of the app you want to exclude
For iOS apps
1. Search for [the name of the app you want to check the ID for] + iOS on Google
2. The "id + number" part of the displayed page phone number list india URL is the app ID (in this case, "id443904275" is the app ID)
For Android apps
②Add the app ID to the block list
Click "Add" on the "Block List" page.
Up to 2,000 entries can be entered at the same time
Bulk upload is also possible using a text file (.txt)
③ Link the ad group you want to set with the block list
Open the settings page of the ad group you want to configure, click "Show advanced settings" under "Placements," and change the "Pangle Block List" setting to ON.
Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to complete.
The "Pangle Block List" feature can be used when the campaign objective is set to "Buying Intent: Traffic" or "Conversion: App Promotion".
Starting in July 2023, placements for "Pangle" will be available by contacting a Byte Dance representative.
Currently, only impressions can be checked, and there are few other items to check, but some inferences can be made from biases in delivery volume, so we recommend that anyone distributing with "Pangle" check it out.
