They don't even have to be

Because the files are small, they can easily be emailed or added to a website for download.
Almost all computers come with Adobe reader or can be installed quickly and easily for free.
You can use any font, color, branding, and style. There are no limits or restrictions on how you design and lay out your PDF or how many pages it should have. A4! You can make them square, A5, and more.
You can set a number of permissions, security barriers, and printing restrictions on PDF files.
How to Create an Interactive PDF, the Easy Way!
Every InDesign tutorial on the internet israel phone number library goes something like this: You create a PDF template with the software, then add your content, then add links, buttons, forms, bookmarks, etc. by going to the toolbar and selecting their corresponding buttons and choosing a shape.

This is a time-consuming process and there is definitely a learning curve. This is made even more unnecessary when we say that making your PDFs interactive takes seconds instead of spending hours using design tools!

Even if you learn to use InDesign or other design tools and spend hours creating your interactive PDF, you're still not guaranteed to work in every PDF reader!

Many of these interactive features of your PDF do not work in programs other than Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat, and sometimes on the Internet. So if your reader (your colleagues, clients, manager, or investor) uses a PDF reader other than Adobe Reader, your interactive PDF will appear as just a plain PDF.

If you want to create an interactive document, you learn complex design tools and create documents that may or may not work. Or you can use an online tool that does the work of creating an interactive document! My favorite: Bit.ai!

Bit is a new-age cloud-based document collaboration tool that helps teams easily create, manage, and track PDFs and other digital workplace documents.
