These links point to an external site that no longer exists or has changed location and has not implemented any redirects.

Broken external links are detrimental to user experience and negatively impact the flow of link equity. If you were counting on external links to benefit a site's page authority, a broken link makes that impossible.

Broken Backlinks
Broken backlinks occur when another site links indian mobile number list to a part of your website with one of the above errors (poor URL structure, spelling mistakes, removed content, hosting issues, etc.)

Because of these links, your page loses authority, so it is important to address the issue to ensure that these links do not affect your rankings.

Why are broken links bad for SEO?
First, broken links hurt the user experience on your site. If someone clicks on a link on your site and gets an error, they will likely click on another page or website.

If many users do the same, it could affect your site's bounce rate, which Google will take into account when deciding your SERP placement.

Backlinks from trusted sites increase your website's page authority. But broken links interrupt the flow of link equity, or the flow of authority between pages.

Internal links help to spread authority about your site. For example, blog posts can boost the rankings of other posts if they are related and linked.

Finally, broken links hinder Google bots that are trying to crawl and index your site. The harder it is for Google to understand your site as a whole, the longer it will take to see a positive change in your rankings.

In 2014, Google Webmaster Trends Analyst John Mueller noted that "if you find [broken links], you should fix them primarily for your users, so they can use your site without any issues. [...] It's another regular maintenance thing you should do for your users."

The impact of broken links on SEO rankings has increased over time, and it's clear that Google wants you to pay attention to user experience.
