Internet advertising – although a relatively new phenomenon – is very popular and regularly dominates global marketing expenditure. According to a report by Publicis Groupe Polska, in Poland alone, advertising expenditure increased by 5.5% in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. The number of Internet users is constantly growing, and the COVID-19 pandemic has given this growth additional dynamics, thanks to which the network has attracted even "non-technical" social groups.

It is worth noting that a large part of the Internet world is occupied by various types of advertising messages. These are comments, specific likes, attempts to build an image... Attempting a thorough comparison of both solutions may not make much sense directly. They should be treated as activities that can complement each other.
