Hello everyone! Today we are starting a series of articles on working with standard templates of the uCoz constructor.
With the help of these materials, novice users of our system who want to slightly update and customize the design of their site will be able to do this themselves without damaging the site code.
Before you begin updating your site design, be sure to back up your templates as instructed .
Where to start?

Change the text color
Once we have decided on the template, it is time to customize it to our own taste and color! Let's say we are not happy with the color of the title in the site header.
To find out which class in the CSS style sheet is responsible for the site title and its color, right-click on the title text and click “View code”.
The name of this function may vary slightly depending on which browser you use. View code - in Google Chrome, Inspect element - in Yandex browser, Inspect object - in Safari, and so on.
And here is the information we are interested in. Here we see that the #site-logo element is responsible for the color and other parameters of the title .
Open the CSS style sheet and find it there.
The color parameter is responsible for the color . We change the standard data #26bf66 to our own. For example, we will make the title black by writing color: #000 .
Tip : Be careful not to break the structure when editing styles. Each parameter is separated from the previous one by a semicolon.
To significantly reduce the time it takes to find the style you need in the template, look in advance to see which line in the CSS corresponds to it.
Hint : You can find the HTML notation of the color you need online, for example here . The easiest way is to enter a direct search query with the color you need.
If you don't see the update on your site after making style changes and reloading the page, clear your browser cache .
