Google Tools: What is Disavow and how to use it?

One of the many tasks I carry out as an SEO consultant is the creation of disavow files to eliminate unhealthy links for our project.

All our links must be natural for Google or, at least, we must try to simulate them as natural as possible .

In the world of link building and web links, you should know that there are different types of links: purchased, exchanged or artificially created.

What steps has Google taken to clean up links?
At the end of April 2012 Google announced the dreaded Google Penguin update.

This Google algorithm update sought to detect all those colombia mobile phone numbers database domains that did not comply with Google webmaster guidelines by creating links with the exact word in an attempt to manipulate rankings.

Since its launch, the dreaded Google Penguin has sought to sink over-optimized sites or sites with artificial link patterns in the SERPs.

All those sites that registered link farm patterns or low-quality sites were manually penalized by Google.

The impact was such that in April 2012 one of the biggest disasters in the SERPs was announced due to the arrival of this new algorithm.

It was due to the bad practices carried out with links that Google was "forced" to develop an algorithm (Google Penguin in particular) to apply algorithmic or manual penalties to sites that do not comply with its guidelines.

In August 2013, a tool called "Manual Actions" was implemented in Google Webmaster Tools, which was accessed through the "Search Traffic" menu to "Manual Actions."

From this section, Google sought to notify all those penalties manually imposed on sites that did not comply with the guidelines.

If you have any penalty, the Disavow tool will help you clean up your link profile and thus eliminate the penalty.

However, performing a disavow is by no means an easy task because every link disavow process is based on the use of several advanced tools for detecting suspicious links.
