Have you ever considered continuing your education outside of Portugal? Or here in Spain?
I had the idea of living in another country and, although Spain was not in my plans, I found this Master's degree that gave me the opportunity to combine the two things I wanted to do: leave Portugal and train in Digital Marketing . In addition, Salamanca is very close to Portugal, and has a prestigious University, with practical training. It was a perfect opportunity for me.
Coming from Portugal, was it difficult for you to follow your Master's classes, because they were in Spanish?
Well, although it is very easy for a Portuguese person to understand Spanish, for me at the beginning it was a bit difficult because I hardly spoke any Spanish. I thought in Portuguese and during class I translated everything, which made me very tired. But little by little, and with the help of my classmates and teachers, I got used to it and I have reached a very good level of Spanish . It may not seem like it, but with jokes and street language, everything becomes easier. And it seems unbelievable, but reggaeton helps a lot… (laughs). Also, there is a lot of diversity in class: I had classmates from Brazil, Ukraine, Venezuela… and that helped me feel more comfortable .
About the MasterDo you think the Master's degree is suitable for real work in Digital Marketing?
Yes, mainly because you are not just studying, but you have access to company internships , where you apply everything you learn in class . Or the other way around, things you learn in the internship, you later analyze in more depth in class. It is a very good combination because you learn and at the same time you gain professional experience.
